SBC resurfacing team reaches Rochfords section

By mid-October the Slough Borough Council contractors working on the section between Goodman Park and Rochfords Gardens had worked their way from Middle Green Road westwards and were visible from Rochfords. As recently as the middle of November there is still activity along the Goodman Park section.

Quality of other sections under review

Users have noted that the eastmost section of path to be recently resurfaced between Middle Green Road and St Mary's bridge has a rougher finish and appears to have used a coarser material. The resultant surface is not as good for cycles and looks incomplete. We will do a full comparison once the works have been completed
